Welcome

This is the new Kenya nine blog for the 16 young people and adults from St Paul's & St George's Church in Edinburgh, travelling to Kenya in July 2009 to work at Cheryls Children's Home Nairobi. Hopefully during the trip various people from the group will update the blog keeping you posted with the lastest news from Nairobi and hopefully show some pictures of the work we are doing.

  3. Hope the first day of the holiday club has gone well and that everyone is feeling excited about the days ahead. Have you had to sing 'dig a little deeper' yet? I'm sure many of the children and certainly Femineice will remember it. Take care of each other. Remember folk are praying for you from all over the world as they are on holiday. Lots of love

  4. Hi All! Keep taking those Malorone tablets. Wish the Scottish Midge could be got rid of just as easily! It's raining and humid here so the little beasts are out in force. Hope the sun is with you and that you have a terrific time with the children at Cheryls. Shall think of you and pray for lots of energy for your task ahead! Love from all the Sturrocks

  9. Hi Everyone! Great to know you are there safely. We are imagining you amongst all the red dust and those beautiful children's faces. Look after the children, yourselves - and each other! As someone else said, there's loads of prayers going up. We look forward to some NEWS from you lot... (Rachel, give me a wave tomorrow as I pass overhead). Many blessings to you all. Alison (and behalf of Strangs)
